Back in September, collectors and connoisseurs of artist Josh Agle (known to the world as Shag) gathered to purchase a cache of art, merchandise and ephemera spanning his entire career at the first ever Shag Swapmeet. Several important original works were made available for the first time -and sold. Numerous long out-of-print serigraphs (many dating pre-2004) were offered at far-below-market-value prices.
To commemorate Shag's new exhbition (Autumn's Come Undone) we offered a collection of important original painted works ranging from the bamboo-framed "The Perils of Trying Too Hard" from 1998, to his signature triptych, "Departure Idlewild, Stopover Borneo, Arrival Ape City," and the heavily merchandised "Il Vespa" painting.

There's not much left, but there's still an opportunity for fans looking to fill in the gaps in their print and tiki collections to do so cheaply. We've still got a selection of incredibly rare items for that Shag fan with almost everything, from original paintings to toys, an artist proof of the Paul Frank purse, and first-printing books, serigraphs, accessories and much more Shag Swag.
