Miles Thompson is a native Californian who grew up in the sun and Pacific waters of the cowboy coast. Living in coastal Orange County, Tijuana adjacent San Diego and his current home in Los Angeles, he has cultivated his inspiration and put together his first one man show at La Luz de Jesus with the seemingly simple theme, California. This collection is generated in various media to explore and enjoy the creativity of his nondenominational majority/minority aortas.

CA. is inspired by the artist's home state's history with specific interest in its violence and racism, the abundant natural resources and the unique inherent beauty therein, the myriad of inhabitants living here regardless of species or nationality, thirteen years in the cartoon animation industry, a deep love of surf comic culture made famous here, and the macabre supernatural Mexican pulp roots.
