August 6 - 29, 1999

Craig LaRotonda received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo where he studied under renowned illustrator Alan Cober. In 1997, he moved to San Francisco where he exhibited his work at Laurence Hultberg Gallery, 111 Minna Street Gallery and here at La Luz De Jesus Gallery. Most notably, LaRotonda opened and curated the vastly unique Revelation Gallery during 1998-1999 and currently works out of Revelation Studios in San Francisco. The artist's paintings and assemblage works are exquisitely rendered pieces adorned with sacred icons, mystical monkeys, ancient saints and human curiosities. His artwork has graced the covers of national magazines, books, sites on the world wide web, and has been purchased by private collectors including Johnny Depp.
