Jason Maloney attended California State University, Fullerton where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing in 2000. Through out his childhood, Jason was obsessively fascinated by 80's skateboard graphics, classic slasher horror movies and heavy metal music. His paintings reflect the coupling of his razor sharp wit, caustic personality and humor along with his formal training, signature cut outs and expansive color fields. Jason currently works as a scenic painter for Disney out of Anaheim, California. This will be Jason's second exhibition of his paintings at La Luz de Jesus Gallery.
