Eric Pigors was influenced by the artwork of EC Comics, Odd Rods stickers, Mad Magazine, Tex Avery, Walt Disney, "The Munsters" and "The Addams Family" which gave Eric his foundation and creative influence in finding his own style which he calls "Toxictunes." Pigors studied animation the Brandes Art Institute in Northridge, CA for two years which was taught by artists from the Walt Disney studios. Pigors has since been in the animation industry for the past 20 years, and worked with Brad Bird and Tim Burton for an episode of Spielberg's "Amazing Stories" titled "The Family Dog." Pigors spent 15 of those years at the Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios as an artist on films such as "The Lion King," "Treasure Planet," Aladdin", "Hercules," "Beauty and the Beast" and others. Disney purchased an original feature idea from Pigors called "Silly Hillbillies on Mars." He also animated a short film called "Let's Chop Soo-E!" for the independent International Rocketship film company based out of Canada.
Poster Pop has released a line of Eric Pigors stickers and Mezco Toyz has produced a line of toys based on his artwork. Pigors has also done tour shirts for Metallica, The Murder Dolls, The Ghastly Ones, The Genitortures, Scum Of The Earth," Psychocharger" and others.
