Andrea Oliveira’s

Andrea Oliveira was born in Brazil 1975, she’s been shooting since she was 17. Her first essay was to shoot black and white pictures of her best friends nude, her dad caught them and said “do you think this house is a motel?” (Motels in Brazil are places where you can rent a room for a couple hours and have sex), so that was embarrassing. Later in her life, not living with her family anymore she rented a motel room for a photo shoot, what a great idea! She got a B.A. in Communications in Brazil and an A.A. in Photography in United States; she’s been in Los Angeles since 1999 and has had solo and group exhibitions since the year of 2001. She mostly shoots people and loves to use her camera as her mind’s scanner.
